I'm Laura A. from Ms. Burgess' 6th hour. I'm planning to read this book because I like books with many characters whose stories are intertwined. The fantasy elements also sound interesting. I plan on buying the book.
ReplyDeleteI'm Christin P. from Ms. Burgess's 6th hour class. I want to read this book because I love fantasy books. Also, it didn't sound completely depressing like some of the other books. I plan on going to a book store and buying the book.
ReplyDeleteI'm Greer from Mrs. Jarrett's 4th hour and I want to read this book because I like fantasy books and books where people have strange magical powers and it was 1 of the 15 books we looked at in class that sounded really interesting. I requested the book from the library.
ReplyDeleteThis is Marcella from Ms Jarrett's 4th hour. I chose this book because it sounded exciting. It actually reminded me of another book I've read, which had a similar setup, so I'm hoping this one will be as interesting as that one was. I'm getting it from the library, hopefully sometime this week.

ReplyDeleteThis is Will K. from Mrs. Burgess's sixth hour. I chose to read this book because it caught my attention right off the bat, has won many awards, and is writed by Salmon Rushdie. I am going to buy this book at Barnes and Noble.
ReplyDeleteThis is Taylor T. from Mrs. Burgess' 6th hour class. I chose to read this book because the plot line sounds very interesting. I didn't want to choose a book that I thought would potentially bore me the entire time I read it. I plan on hunting this book down at a nearby library.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteThis novel is a magical read with a cultural twist and it seems very fascinating. I've read a similar book about children born at midnight having special powers, but to be perfectly honest, there really was no plot. I feel like because of the cultural difference (the Indian background), a significant difference in the quality of the plot will present itself. Amazon.com or Barnes & Noble will be the way to go for me.
Thank you,
Rohini Singh

This is Adam Riestere from Mrs. Burgess' 6th hour. I chose this book because I'm intereseted in fantasy books that have a good story. I will get it from the local library.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI want to read the novel because I find the plot of the story very interesting, and I am interested in finding what the talents are of all the children. I will buy this book from Barnes & Noble.
